Cancellation policies
Policies on down payments and refunds
The hotel may ask the customer for a down payment, which will be discounted from the total bill at the end of their stay. It is usually 20% of the reservation total. As long as the down payment is not received, the hotel reserves the right not to confirm the reservation.
Cancellation of a reservation gives the hotel the right to retain, as compensation, the following percentages of the downpayment depending on the cases:
- 1. 100% when the cancellation is less than seven days prior to the check-in date.
- 2. 50% when the cancellation is between 15 and 7 days prior.
- 3. The full down payment will be returned when the cancellation is made 16 days prior to the check-in date.
- 4. 4. In case of individual reservations the Hotel will ask for a credit card number and its expiration date. The total for the first night will be charged to that credit card in the case that the customer does not show or at least has not given 24-hour prior notice.
For group reservations, the hotel will retain, as compensation, the following percentages in case of cancellation:
- 1. 100% when cancellation is 15 days prior to check-in of the group.
- 2. 50% when cancellation is between 30 and 15 days prior.
- 3. The full downpayment will be returned when the cancellation is made more than 31 days prior to arrival.
- 4. The same conditions apply to cancellation of separate rooms within the group reservation.
Reminder
- 1. Check-in at the hotel is at 1 p.m. and check-out is at 12 p.m. on the next day. Contact the hotel if you plan on arriving beforehand or leaving afterwards.
- 2. Room reservations will be held until 8 p.m. of check-in date, unless the customer informs the hotel that the arrival will be at a later time.
